Maybe you should stop for a meal.
I like music. Here's my terrible music opinions.
I'm gonna add an image below this paragraph.
This was March 2018, if memory serves. My cousins came down from Ohio to do a tour of the parks in the Orlando metro as they do from time to time, and we decided to do a day with them even though we were poor as dirt. We stayed overnight at the Adventura hotel in Universal (since we were going to Islands of Adventure), and we actually got a pretty big room from what I remember. It was set up real odd-like, where you had the bedroom out in the open with a short hall running in-between the windows and an interior wall that led to a bathroom. The afternoon we got there was normal. We put all our bags down in the room, I played on their VR headset that they set up somewhere around the hotel, and we bummed around CityWalk for awhile with the cousins and my aunt and uncle, who are big parkheads and live around Orlando. Dinner was (and still is) somewhat awkward with that many people. The youngest cousin spent most of the time on his tablet playing Smash Hit, that stupid game from the before times where you break the glass with little metal balls. After that, we went back and slept. When I woke up, I saw a spectral turquoise figure peering out of the bathroom and looking me dead in the eyes. Its eyes were completely white. We stood in deadlock for what felt like forever, but I eventually mustered up enough courage to walk over to it. By the time I got there it was gone. I didn't tell my parents until this Thanksgiving when the aunt and uncle came over. And that's the story of the time I saw a ghost at a Universal hotel. I was always into cryptozoology and UFOlogy, but somehow I kinda just pushed it out of my mind until just now. Well, that's probably enough. I'm gonna get a guestbook up and running as soon as I can, as well as figuring out how to gussy this all up. Hasta pronto.
You know, I'll at least tell you a little about me. Hunter. She/they pronouns. Not wholly human or inhuman. Nowadays I'm just happy that I'm not dead. I've had a few close calls, from my own hand, and I'll take what I can get. I'm trying to fully absorb music^tm, a task unfit for anyone with a modicum of common sense. Recently I've gotten into Puscifer, A Perfect Circle, & incubus. Rockhounding is mostly fossils here in the big FL, and we haven't hit much these past few months. I'm involved in local radio. I have to tell myself I'm not the main character constantly, because I've seen and done so much that it's hard to believe I'm not. Have you seen a ghost, and gotten bitten by an octopus, and have pet a shark in the wild, and been to the ends of the earth, and nearly died multiple times, and seen a sperm whale, and been on so many adventures that you've forgotten more than you could possibly ever remember? "New Skin". incubus. Go find and listen to it, now.
Okay. Here's my guestbook.
